Napakahalaga to build a genuine relationship with your members. Ang Care Circle ay hindi lang para sa attendance o pang-sesermon kundi pagkakaroon ng relasyon sa isa’t isa at sama-samang pagtahak sa buhay.
Mga bagay na makakatulong:
1. I-welcome ang grupo.
2. Kung kayang magkaroon ng ice breaker, mas mainam!
3. Kamustahin ang kanilang mga naging nakaraang lingo – any highlights or challenges.
4. Kamustahin kung nagawa ba nila ang application last week
5. Kamustahin kung meron bang answered prayers mula sa inyong mga ipinanalangin.

Passage: Matthew 7:7-11
Scripture Reading: Matthew 7:7-11
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
1. NOT AS A STRANGER / DAYUHAN
Instead, I will ASK (as His FOLLOWER-FRIEND)
(follower-friend is one who attaches himself to the person and beliefs of another with close affinity)
WE CAN ASK – we can take our requests and needs to God and present them before Him so we can obtain help or answer anytime, anywhere.
BIBLICAL BASES:
John 15: 15 “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know what his master is doing. But I call you friends, because I have made known to you everything I heard from my Father.”
Eph. 2:19 From now on you are not strangers and people who are not citizens. You are citizens together with those who belong to God. You belong in God’s family.
Romans 8:16-17
16 Ang Espiritu ang nagpapatotoo, kasama ng ating espiritu, na tayo'y mga anak ng Diyos. 17 At yamang mga anak, tayo'y mga tagapagmana ng Diyos at kasamang tagapagmana ni Cristo. Sapagkat kung tayo'y kasama niya sa pagtitiis, tayo'y makakasama niya sa kanyang kaluwalhatian.
Challenge: If you do not have a relationship yet with God’s Son, Jesus, ito na po ang pagkakataon na kilalanin mo Si Hesus nang malapitan, na tanggapin Siya bilang iyong Tagapagligtas at Panginoon (Savior and Lord)., at magpasakop sa Kanyang kalooban. MAKE JESUS YOUR SAVIOR AND LORD… YOU CAN ASK FREELY
Bible Character: Remember that rich young ruler who came to Jesus to ask but did not like His answer, ang dapat tanong kay Hesus, na sinasagot naman Niya, ngunit, tuwing sumsagot si Hesus, ayaw rin Niyang paniwalaan at sundin. Umuwi Siyang malungkot, ayaw na tuloy magtanong, kasi nga ayaw naman pala talaga Niyang makinig sa sagot. Bakit ayaw mong lumapit sa Dios? Shy ka?
Misconception: Simpleng tao lang, hindi ako masyadong papansin ng Dios
Mga pastor lang ang sinasagot, yung mga magaling lang sa ministry? Yung mga relihiyoso lang ang sinasagot ng Dios?
Tandaan! Huwag mahiyang magtanong lalo na’t makikinig ka at susunod naman sa Kanyang sagot. – Ptra. KOC
DECISION TO MAKE: I WILL ASK GOD
2. NOT BULLY/TOUGH GUY or ‘SIGA’
Instead, I WILL SEEK (HIS FACE AND WAYS)
(seek - consciously fix or focus my mind’s attention and my heart’s affection on God)
WE NEED TO SEEK GOD – upon praying, We look to God with EYES OF FAITH. Kapag ito ang ating ginawa, Magliliwanag ang ating paligid at hindi na tayo naghahanap sa maling lugar.
BIBLICAL BASES:
Isaiah 55:6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near
I Chron. 16:11 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
LOOK TO THE LORD ALWAYS!
Seeking involves calling and pleading. “O Lord, open my eyes. O Lord, pull back the curtain of my own blindness. Lord, have mercy and reveal yourself. I long to see your face.”
RESPECT GOD AND KEEP SEEKING HIS WAYS. WE CAN SEEK HIM WITH HUMILITY
Bible Character: Moses was an earnest seeker of God’s ways
Hebrews 11:6 “Whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him”
Misconception: Nasa Dios ang awa, nasa tao ang gawa.

FOCUS TO CHANGE: I WILL SEEK GOD
3. NOT CAGEY
(cagey - reluctant to give information owing to caution or suspicion; secretive in giving out details)
ü Instead, I will KNOCK (with PERSEVERANCE)
(PERSEVERANCE - persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success)
WE CAN KNOCK – we can knock on that door that God presents before us.
BIBLICAL BASES:
Luke 11:9-10 So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.
Luke 11:5-10 Sinabi pa rin niya sa kanila, “Ipalagay nating isang hatinggabi, isa sa inyo'y nagpunta sa isa ninyong kaibigan at nakiusap, ‘Kaibigan, pahiram muna ng tatlong tinapay. 6 Dumating kasi ang isa kong kaibigang naglalakbay at wala akong maihain sa kanya!’ 7 At ganito naman ang sagot ng kaibigan mong nasa loob ng bahay, ‘Huwag mo akong gambalain! Sarado na ang pinto at nakahiga na kami ng aking mga anak. Hindi na ako makakabangon para bigyan ka ng kahit ano.’
8 Sinasabi ko sa inyo, hindi man siya bumangon dahil sa kanilang pagiging magkaibigan, babangon siya upang ibigay ang hinihingi ng kaibigan dahil sa pagpupumilit nito. 9 Kaya't sinasabi ko sa inyo, humingi kayo at kayo'y bibigyan; humanap kayo at kayo'y makakatagpo; kumatok kayo at kayo'y pagbubuksan. 10 Sapagkat ang bawat humihingi ay tatanggap; ang bawat humahanap ay makakatagpo; at ang bawat kumakatok ay pagbubuksan.
Bible Character: Hannah - One woman who contended in prayer. She is famously known as the mother of the prophet and judge Samuel. But her story is so much more than just being his mother.
Hannah went up to the temple at Shiloh to sacrifice to the Lord and to pray for a child. Hannah was childless and her co-wife ridiculed her daily because of it. Hannah would cry because she had prayed for years and had not seen any results.
She was hurting inside yet she never gave up on prayer. Hannah knew that God was the only one who would help her. One time Hannah had reached the end of her rope and she cried bitterly as she prayed.
“I was pouring out my soul to the Lord”
Misconception: Hindi ko na kailangang manalangin nang detalyado kasi alam naman ng Dios ang laman ng puso at isip ko.
Do not picture God as malevolent God - (wishing harm; having, showing, or arising from intense often vicious ill will, spite, or hatred.)
Tandaan! Huwag ka nang katok nang katok, hindi ka rin pala papasok. – Ptra. KOC
ACTUAL PRAYER APPLICATION: Subukan ho nating kumatok sa Dios
“Ama, batid Nyo pong lahat at wala po akong maitatago sa iyo. You know my going and my coming. You are the First and the Last and all the In-Betweens! Kasi po alam Nyo naman na ako po ay addict na addict sa computer game. Kita nyo naman po na puyat ako lagi kaya laging masama ang pakiramdam ko. Hindi ko po maintitndihan kung bakit ako nalulon dito samantalang hindi naman po ako ganito dati. Ituro nyo po sa akin ang daang aking tatahakin upang maituwid na ang aking lakad.
CONCLUSION:
Hindi nating pipiliing lumapit sa Dios kung hindi tayo nananalig sa Kanya at sa Kanyang magagawa.
DECIDE, CHANGE YOUR FOCUS, ACT ON YOUR PRAYER: I will ASK, I will SEEK, I will KNOCK….. To experience deeper impact on your prayer!
Reflection
· Paano mo pa mapapalalim ang iyong panalangin sa Panginoon?
Practice [I-apply ang Natutunan]
· Maglaan ng oras araw-araw upang basahin ang Salita ng Diyos at humingi ng tulong sa Banal na Espiritu upang magkaroon ng pang-unawa at pananampalataya upang i-apply ito sa iyong buhay.
