Opening [Pambungad]

Napakahalaga to build a genuine relationship with your members.

3. Kamustahin ang kanilang mga naging nakaraang lingo – any highlights or challenges.

4. Kamustahin kung nagawa ba nila ang application last week

5. Kamustahin kung meron bang answered prayers mula sa inyong mga ipinanalangin.

Rewind [Balikan ang Napakinggan]

Noble - belonging to a hereditary class with high social or political status; having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals

Noble = Marangal

1 Peter 2:9 AMPC

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness (Old Self) into His marvelous light (New Creation in Christ).

Story of Joseph the Dreamer

Genesis 39:1-6

1Now Joseph had been brought down to Egypt, and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, the captain of the guard, an Egyptian, had bought him from the Ishmaelites who had brought him down there.

2 The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master.

3 His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord caused all that he did to succeed in his hands.

4 So Joseph found favor in his sight and attended him, and he made him overseer of his house and put him in charge of all that he had.

5 From the time that he made him overseer in his house and over all that he had, the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had, in house and field.

6 So he left all that he had in Joseph's charge, and because of him he had no concern about anything but the food he ate.

It is important to remember that to be successful in your workplace/secular world you must be conscious that the Lord is with you.

Because when the Lord is with you, you have all the help in the world.

The Challenge and Temptation in Secular World: Genesis 39:7-9

He is not greater in this house than I am, nor has he kept back anything from me except you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?”

Genesis 39:9

Consciousness of the Goodness of God will make you reject sin. Because to be in the side of the Lord is already the best. Your best calling in the secular world is for the people to see that the Lord is with you, that is why you don’t have to compromise.

You don’t need to talk bad about other people.

You don’t need to be involved in scams.

You don’t need to accept wrong doings even if it is convenient

There will be challenges, and there will be times that you don’t need to say anything but keep moving forward.

Story of Isaac, Abimelech, and Philistines - Genesis 26:12-22

Genesis 26:28-29

28 They said, “We see plainly that the Lord has been with you. So we said, let there be a sworn pact between us, between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you,

29 that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you and have done to you nothing but good and have sent you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the Lord.”

You are Holy. Set apart by God.

There should be a distinguished difference between you and secular world.

Because we believe that we are blessed through Jesus Christ it is important as well that they know your faith in Him.

When you declare your faith in your workplace, you can say no to any compromise.

Let us be the people who can be trusted in our workplace

Again, your best calling in the secular world is for the people to see that the Lord is with you, that is why you don’t have to compromise.

Story of David and Nathan the Prophet

2 Samuel 12:7-9

7 Nathan said to David, “You are the man! Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul.

8 And I gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your arms and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah. And if this were too little, I would add to you as much more.

9 Why have you despised the word of the Lord, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

Compromise is not an option, because YOU CAN ASK GOD!

Ephesians 4:1

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called,

You are not called for lesser things. You are called for GREATER THINGS!

Romans 5:17

17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace (Undeserved Favor) and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life (whole, health, prosperity, emotional, attitude – including in your secular place) through the One, Jesus Christ.

You have a noble calling from the Lord, to be salt and light to your secular world.
