Escalate: to become or make something become greater or worse or serious; to increase in intensity or magnitude; to increase rapidly, shoot up!
De-escalate - hindi palalalain, hindi pabibigatin, huwag palalakihin, huwag palulubhain
We need to DE-ESCALATE TO DISSIPATE DANGER – para mapawi o maparam ang panganib
I. OPERATION: HINAY SA PAGBILIB SA LAHAT NG KUWENTO (ABSORPTION DE-ESCALATION)
Danger Ahead:
Verses:
Eph. 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Prov. 16:28 A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.
I John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world
Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
Slow down: SPEEDING DESTROYS LIVES – Gossiping can never build lives!

II. OPERATION: HINAY SA PAGSAMA SA LAHAT NG PAGYAYA (SOCIAL DE-ESCALATION)
Danger Ahead
Verses:
I Cor. 15:33 Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
Prov. 25:26 If a godly man compromises with the wicked, it is like polluting a fountain or muddying a spring.
Proverbs 14:16 One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless.
Slow down: DANGEROUS CURVE AHEAD! Watch where these people will being you!

III. OPERATION: HINAY SA PAGBULALAS NG LAHAT NG GUSTONG SABIHIN (VERBAL DE-ESCALATION)

I Peter 2:17 Show proper respect to everyone
Prov. 15: 1 A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire.
Prov. 17:27 He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.
Slow down: High Voltage! It will always produce heated arguments!
Reflection: Rank yourself sa bara- barang panunukso o pagsalita ng masasama kapag galit sa kausap. 5 – pabigla-bigla magsalita 1 - hinay hinay sa sinasabi (or 4,3,2)
IV. OPERATION: HINAY SA PAGPAYAG SA LAHAT NG OPORTUNIDAD (MEN’S APPROVAL DE-ESCALATION)

Prov. 29: 5 Flattery is the tool, not of someone looking to deepen a relationship but to leverage proximity for personal gain
Psalm 37:23-25 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way Proverbs 22:3 The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.
Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom.
Colossians 3:1-2 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Slow down: HUMPS AHEAD! Not all opportunities are from the Lord!

V. OPERATION: HINAY SA PAGPATOL SA LAHAT NG PANGUNGUTYA (PRIDE DE-ESCALATION)

Verses:
Acts 26:24 (Paul) Porcius Festus “said with a loud voice, ‘Paul, you are out of your mind; your great learning is driving you out of your mind.”
Isaiah 53:7 The prophet Isaiah prophesying concerning the suffering of Christ Jesus said, “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth…” (Isaiah 53: 7).
Slow down: HEALTH DUST HAZARD – Reacting to and in all criticisms is not helpful.
Reflection: Rank yourself sa bilis na pagpatol sa mga bashing and insulting. 5 – Hindi na nag-iisip para makapatol agad 1 - Hinay-hinay sa pagpatol. Nag-iisip. (or 4,3,2)
VI. OPERATION: HINAY SA PAGTANGGAP SA LAHAT NG ALOK NG KASAGANAAN
(LIFESTYLE DE-ESCALATION)
Danger Ahead:
Verses:
Proverbs 12:26 The godly give good advice to their friends, the wicked lead them astray.
Proverbs 21:20 The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get. Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
Slow down: HEAVY EQUIPMENT Crossing – It is a heavy accountability!
Reflection: Rank yourself sa bilis pagtanggap sa lahat ng oportunidad kaya walang direksyon. 5 – Nanghihinayang kaya tanggap nang tanggap. Sayang. 1 - Hinay-hinay. Seeking God’s will first. (or 4,3,2)
VII. OPERATION: HINAY SA PAGKAGUSTO SA LAHAT NG MASARAP at MAGANDA
(PLEASURE DE-ESCALATION)
Danger Ahead:
Verses:
Philippians 3:19 Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.
Proverbs 23:20-21 Be not among drunkards or among gluttonous eaters of meat, for the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, and slumber will clothe them with rags.
I Timothy 5:6 but she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives.
Slow down: WILDLIFE CROSSING! This wildness of life will take its toll!
Reflection: Rank yourself sa bilis ng pagkagusto sa gustog kainin at gustong bilhin. 5 – Wala nang pakialam basta gusto, ipipilit. 1 – Hinay-hinay sa pagkain at pamimili (or 4,3,2)
VIII. OPERATION: HINAY SA PAGGATONG SA LAHAT NG SIGALOT
(TROUBLE-MAKER DE-ESCALATION)
Danger Ahead:
Verses:
Matthew 5:9 God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.
Proverbs 20:3 It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.
Romans 1:32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
Slow down: Children crossing! The next generation is looking at us!
Reflection: Rank yourself sa bilis ng paggatong sa lahat ng sigalot. 5 – Sulsol nang sulsol; Sagot nang sagot; 1 – Hinay-hinay sa panggagatong (or 4,3,2)
Conclusion:
If we just jump ahead even if we know that these things are dangerous, this will result (irreparable) DESTRUCTION, (untimely) DEATH, (uncontrollable) DEFEAT!
Step on the brakes!!! If you do not want your life destroyed or see another destroyed because of you. – Ptra. K
